ORDINANCE NO. 920428

 

Authorizing personal services contracts for traffic control monitor services with John F. Hays, in an amount not to exceed $31,680.00, and with Robert M. Peters, in an amount not to exceed $28,800.00, in connection with the Bartle Hall Expansion Project.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to enter into a personal services contract with John F. Hays, in an amount not to exceed $31,680.00, for traffic control monitor services for a term beginning May 1, 1992 and ending on April 1, 1993 for the Bartle Hall Expansion Project.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to enter into a personal services contract with Robert M. Peters, in an amount not to exceed $28,800.00, for traffic control monitor services for a term beginning May 1, 1992 and ending on April 1, 1993 for the Bartle Hall Expansion Project.

 

Section 3. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to expend the sum of $70,000.00 from funds heretofore appropriated to Account No. 685-40522T as and for consideration of the aforesaid personal services contracts, related FICA obligations and reimbursable expenses related thereto.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
