COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR ORDINANCE NO. 140286

 

Authorizing the Director of the City Development Department to execute a $100,089.20 fifth contract amendment to a contract with Tetra Tech, Inc. for environmental services related to the 63rd & Prospect Redevelopment Project.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That a fifth contract amendment between the City and Tetra Tech, Inc., for a total amount not to exceed $366,489.13, to be paid from funds previously appropriated in Account No. AL-3430-648045-64008045-B, is hereby accepted and approved. A copy of the amendment, in substantial form, is on file with the Department of City Development and is incorporated herein by reference.

 

Section 2. That the Director is hereby authorized to extend the term of this contract without further Council approval and that the Director is also hereby authorized to amend this contract to increase or decrease the total contract dollar amount contingent upon the need and availability of appropriated funds.

 

 

 

 

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
