ORDINANCE NO. 081043

 

Rezoning an area of approximately 2.83 acres generally located at 5236 Cherry Street from District R-1b to District R-4. (13857-P)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0814, rezoning an area of approximately 2.83 acres generally located at 5236 Cherry Street from District R-1b (One-Family Dwellings) to District R-4 (Low Apartments), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 80-11A0814. That an area legally described as:

 

Lot 4 and the south 15 feet of Lot 1, Block 3, Southwood Park, and Lot 1, except that part lying southwest of the following described line: Beginning at a point on the east line of said Lot 1, which is 50 feet northwesterly from extreme southeast corner of said Lot 1, and produced to a point in the westerly line of said Lot 1, which is 50 feet northeasterly measured along the westerly line of said Lot 1, from extreme southwest corner of said Lot 1, all in Block 9, Crestwood, both subdivisions in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri

 

is hereby rezoned from District R-1b (One-Family Dwellings) to District R-4 (Low Apartments), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0814, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
