ORDINANCE NO. 980128

Accepting and approving a one year $298,630.00 contract with the Missouri Department of Health that provides funding for an Immunization Action Plan (IAP).

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That a contract between the City of Kansas City, Missouri, acting through its Director of Health, and the Missouri Department of Health, acting through its Director of Administration, whereby the Missouri Department of Health will providing funding for an Immunization Action Plan (IAP) for the period of December 15, 1997 to December 14, 1998, for an amount not to exceed $298,630.00, is hereby accepted and approved. A copy of the contract, in substantial form, is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
