ORDINANCE NO. 091052

 

Amending the 2009 One Year Action Plan by reducing the allocation for public services; increasing the allocation for code enforcement in the General Fund and Community Development Block Grant Fund; and recognizing an emergency.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the 2009 One Year Action Plan is amended by reducing the allocation of Community Development Block Grant funds for public services in the amount of $100,000.00 and increasing the allocation of Community Development Block Grant funds for code enforcement in the amount of $100,000.00.

 

Section 2. That the appropriations in the following accounts are reduced by the indicated amounts:

 

10-2600-575317-B-G57CDBG09 Neighborhood Capacity Building $100,000.00

10-1000-572310-A Inspections 100,000.00

TOTAL $200,000.00

 

Section 3. That the appropriations in the following accounts are increased by the indicated amounts:

 

10-2600-575311-A-G57CDBG09 Neighborhood Revitalization $100,000.00

10-1000-572501-B Neighborhood Assistance 100,000.00

TOTAL $200,000.00

Section 4. That this ordinance is recognized as an emergency measure within the provisions of Section 503 of the City Charter in that it appropriates money, and shall take effect in accordance with that section.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
