ORDINANCE NO. 960300

Authorizing a $194,871.00 agreement with Burns & McDonnell Engineering Co. to conduct an environmental audit of the water facilities; and authorizing expenditure of $214,500.00 in funding therefor.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the City Attorney is hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of City, a $194,871.00 agreement with Burns & McDonnell Engineering Co. to conduct an environmental audit of the water facilities. A copy of said agreement is on file in the office of the City Attorney.

Section 2. That the Director of Water Services is hereby authorized to expend up to the sum of $214,500.00 from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 96-801-080-7710-T to satisfy the cost of this agreement including contingency funds.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
