ORDINANCE NO. 050446

 

Estimating revenue in the amount of $52,000.00 and appropriating it to the Local Law Enforcement Block Grant Fund; declaring an emergency measure within the provisions of Section 15, Article III of the Charter.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1: That the revenue in the following account of the Local Law Enforcement Block Grant is hereby estimated in the following amount:

 

05-2830-570000-481740 Jackson County Contribution $52,000.00

 

Section 2: That the amount of $52,000.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Local Law Enforcement Block Grant Fund to the following Local Law Enforcement Block Grant Fund account:

 

05-2830-572120-B 2003 Local Law Enforcement Block Grant $52,000.00

 

Section 3. This Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure within the provisions of Section 15, Article III of the Charter and shall take effect immediately upon its passage.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
