ORDINANCE NO. 121051

 

Rezoning a 1.23 acre tract of land generally located at the southwest corner of N.E. 82nd Street and N. Oak Trafficway, from Districts B 3-2 and R-7.5 to District B 1-1. (14344-P)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 88, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly known as the Zoning and Development Code, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 88-20A0920, rezoning an area of approximately 1.23 acre tract of land generally located at the southwest corner of N.E. 82nd Street and N. Oak Trafficway, from Districts B 3-2 (Community Business - dash 2) and R-7.5 (Residential – dash 7.5) to District B 1-1 (Neighborhood Business - dash 1)said section to read as follows:

 

Section 88-20A0920. That an area legally described as:

 

8148 N. Oak Trafficway – Jefferson Highlands, Lots 1 & 2, Blk. 8 (Ex Prt in ROW).

 

is hereby rezoned from Districts B 3-2 (Community Business - dash 2) and R-7.5 (Residential – dash 7.5) to District B 1-1 (Neighborhood Business - dash 1), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 88-20A0920, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and in accordance with Section 88-20 thereof.

 

Section B. That issuance of a Building Permit is conditioned that signage on the parcel be in compliance with Chapter 88-445, and the existing nonconforming signs will be removed as stated by the applicant.

 

Section C. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
