Rezoning
an area of approximately 1.5 acres generally located on the north side of 47th Street between Madison Avenue and Summit Street from District R-5 and District C-3a2-p
to District C-3a2. (10111-P-2).
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section A. That
Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly
known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to
be known as Section 80-11A0607, rezoning an area of approximately 1.5 acres
generally located on the north side of 47th Street
between Madison Avenue and Summit Street from District
R-5 (High Apartments) and District C-3a2-p (Intermediate Business, High
Buildings-Limited District) to District C-3a2 (Intermediate Business, High
Buildings), said section to read as follows:
Section 80-11A0607. That an area
legally described as:
All of Lots 18
through 36 inclusive, along with the vacated alley lying between the north line
of said Lots 18 and 31 and the North line of 47th Street, in Block
16, BUNKER HILL, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.
is hereby rezoned from District R-5 (High Apartments) and District C-3a2-p
(Intermediate Business, High Buildings-Limited District) to District C-3a2
(Intermediate Business, High Buildings), all as shown outlined on a map
marked Section 80-11A0607, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and
which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps
constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11
thereof.
Section B. That the
Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed
amendment hereinabove, all public notices have been given and hearings have
been held as required by the Zoning Ordinance.
