ORDINANCE NO. 120130
Authorizing an increase in the
contingency of a contract with Randy Spalding Excavating, Inc. in the amount of
$269,338.00 for construction services.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That the contingency
of the contract with Randy Spalding Excavating, Inc. for Project No. 89008148-89008205-89001392
- NW 72nd Extension and Waukomis Drive/Green Hills Road is increased in the amount
of $269,338.00 for additional construction services.
Section 2. That the Director
of Capital Projects Department is hereby authorized to expend the sum of $269,338.00
from funds previously appropriated to Account No. AL-8071-808082-B-80001570.

I hereby certify that
there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation
to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance,
otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which
payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
