generally located east of N. Brighton Avenue and south of N.E. 92nd Street from

BE IT ORDAINED
BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section A. That
Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly
known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to
be known as Section 80-11A0651, rezoning an area of approximately 63 acres
generally located east of N. Brighton Avenue and south of N.E. 92nd
Street from District RA (Agricultural) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings),
said section to read as follows:
Section 80-11A0651. That an area
legally described as:
Part of the
Southeast Quarter of Section 5 in Township 51, Range 32, Kansas City, Clay
County, Missouri, described as follows:
Commencing at the
center of said Section 5; Thence South 8858'08" East, along the North
line of the Southeast Quarter of said Quarter-Section, a distance of 468.00
feet; Thence South 0022'09" West, a distance of 11.00 feet to the Point
of Beginning; Thence South 8858'08" East, parallel to the North line of
the Southeast Quarter of Section 5-51-32, a distance of 850.84 feet; Thence
South 0027'39" West, along the East line of the Southwest Quarter of the
Southeast Quarter of Section 5-51-32, a distance of 2,619.61 feet; Thence
North 8847'01" West, along the South line of the Southeast Quarter of
Section 5-51-32, a distance of 620.64 feet; Thence North 0022'09" East,
a distance of 210.02 feet; Thence North 8847'01" West, a distance of
694.08 feet; Thence North 0022'09" East, along the West line of the
Southeast Quarter of Section 5-51-32 a distance of 1,103.18 feet; Thence South
8852'35" East, along the North line of the Southwest Quarter of the
Southwest Quarter of Section 5-51-32, a distance of 468.01 feet; Thence North
0022'09" East, a distance of 343.96 feet; Thence North 8858'08"
West, a distance of 468.00 feet; Thence North 0022'09" East, along the
West line of the Southeast Quarter of Section 5-51-32, a distance of 40.00
feet; Thence South 8858'08" East, a distance of 468.00 feet; Thence
North 0022'09" East, a distance of 919.00 feet to the Point of Beginning,
containing 62.21 acres more or less.
is hereby rezoned from District
RA (Agricultural) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings), all as shown
outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0651, which is attached hereto and made
a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the
zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section
80-11 thereof.
Section B. That
the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed
amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning
Ordinance have been given and had.
