Authorizing a Ground Lease Agreement with the State of Missouri, acting by and through the Missouri Highways and Transportation (MoDOT) at the Kansas City Downtown Airport for a camera surveillance site.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to enter into a Ground Lease Agreement with the State of Missouri, acting by and through the Missouri Highways and Transportation (MoDOT) at the Kansas City Downtown Airport for a camera surveillance site of 60 square feet of improved land which computes to an annual rent of $13.20 annually or $66.00 for the total five year term. The term will be from July 1, 2001 through June 30, 2006, with two additional five-year renewals. A copy of the Lease is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
