ORDINANCE NO. 900299

 

Authorizing the Director of Water and Pollution Control to enter into a Lease Agreement with the Tnemec Company, Inc. for the leasing of a portion of a parking lot located at 2300 Burlington in North Kansas City, Missouri, for three years for One Dollar to be used for the construction of a temporary intermediate ventilation shaft for the Trans-Missouri River Tunnel Project.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Water and Pollution Control is hereby authorized to enter into a Lease Agreement on behalf of the City with the Tnemec Company, Inc. for the leasing by the City of a portion of a parking lot located at 2300 Burlington, North Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, consisting of approximately 2,400 square feet more or less, for a period of three years beginning October 1, 1990, for One Dollar, for use for the construction of a temporary intermediate ventilation shaft for the Trans-Missouri River Tunnel Project. A copy of that Lease Agreement is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure, is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
