ORDINANCE NO. 051317

 

Authorizing execution of the Second Amendment to a Lease with Aero Kansas City, LLC, for reconstruction of the ramp parcel and the expenditure of previously appropriated funds in the amount of $1,500,000.00.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to execute a $1,500,000.00 Second Amendment to a Lease between Kansas City, Missouri, and Aero Kansas City, LLC for the reconstruction of the ramp parcel leased by Aero Kansas City at the Kansas City International Airport. A copy of the amendment is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to expend an amount not to exceed $1,500,000.00 from funds previously appropriated for work to be performed under the aforesaid amendment to the following account in the KCI Airports Fund, No. 8300.

 

06-8300-627270-B Aviation Capital Improvements $1,500,000.00

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
