ORDINANCE NO. 950627

 

Accepting various easements and deeds in Jackson, Clay and Platte Counties, releasing various easements in Clay County, and directing the City Clerk to record the acceptance.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That various easements in Kansas City, Jackson County, executed by the following persons, and which appear of record as the instrument numbers and respective books and pages as follows:

 

1. Water Line Easement from Kansas City Area Transportation Authority, Instrument No. K1043619, Book K2293, Page 1168, Easement No. 2378.

 

2. Permanent Easement for Water Main and Appurtenances from B-Mall Co., Instrument No. K1072357, Book K2368, Page 2307, Easement No. 2255.

 

all recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds for Jackson County, Missouri, at Kansas City, are hereby accepted.

 

Section 2. That various deeds in Kansas City, Jackson County, executed by the following persons, and which appear of record as the instrument numbers and respective books and pages as follows:

Section 5. That the legal descriptions for such properties listed in Sections 1 through 4 are set forth in Exhibit "A", which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

 

Section 6. That the standard sewer easement described as part of the NE 1/4 of Section 17, Township 51, Range 32, described as follows: A strip of land 15 feet in width, lying 7.5 feet on either side of a centerline beginning at a point on the west line of said NE 1/4 235.52 feet south of the northwest corner of said NE 1/4, thence south 86 degrees 01 minutes 44 seconds, east 382.41 feet, more or less, to its point of termination, all in Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, recorded as Document No. C35943 in book 1020 at page 808 on July 16, 1969, be and the same is hereby released to its present owners, their heirs and assigns, and the Director of Water and Pollution Control, if so requested, is authorized to execute a quit-claim deed to the present owners, their successors or assigns, as further evidence thereof.

 

Section 7. That the Standard Sewer Easement described as part of the NW 1/4 of Section 17, Township 51, Range 32 described as follows: A strip of land 15 feet in width lying 7.5 feet on either side of a centerline beginning at a point on the east line of said NW 1/4 235.52 feet south of the northeast corner of said NW 1/4, thence north 86 degrees 01 minutes 44 seconds west 227 feet, thence north 73 degrees 47 minutes 54 seconds west 368.54 feet, more or less, to its point of termination, all in Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, recorded as Document No. C35935 in book 1020 at page 792 on July 16, 1969, be and the same is hereby released to its present owners, their heirs and assigns, and the Director of Water and Pollution Control, if so requested, is authorized to execute a quit-claim deed to the present owners, their successors or assigns, as further evidence thereof.

 

Section 8. That the Standard Sewer Easement described as part of the SW 1/4 of Section 16, Township 51, Range 32, described as follows: A strip of land 15.0 feet in width lying 7.5 feet on either side of a centerline, beginning at a point north 89 degrees 56 minutes 52 seconds east, along the south line, 812.72 feet from the southwest corner of said section, thence north 51 degrees 06 minutes 47 seconds east 511.63 feet, more or less, to its point of termination, and part of the NW 1/4 of Section 21, Township 51, Range 32, described as follows: A strip of land 15.0 feet in width, lying 7.5 feet on either side of a centerline, beginning at a point on the north line of said NW 1/4, 89 degrees 56 minutes 52 seconds east of the northwest corner of said NW 1/4 812.72 feet, thence south 51 degrees 6 minutes 47 seconds west, 159.29 feet, more or less, to its point of termination, all in Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, recorded as Document No. C35935 in book 1020 at page 792 on July 16, 1969, be and the same is hereby released to its present owners, their heirs and assigns, and the Director of Water and Pollution Control, if so requested, is authorized to execute a quit-claim deed to the present owners, their successors or assigns, as further evidence thereof.

 

Section 9. That upon the effective date of this ordinance, the City Clerk is hereby directed to cause this ordinance to be recorded in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds for Jackson County, Missouri, at Kansas City and Independence, for Clay County, Missouri, at Liberty, and for Platte County, Missouri, at Platte City, respectively.
