ORDINANCE NO. 960218

 

Accepting various easements and deeds in Jackson, Clay and Platte Counties, releasing an easement in Jackson County, and directing the City Clerk to record the acceptance.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That various easements in Kansas City, Jackson County, executed by the following persons, and which appear of record as the instrument numbers and respective books and pages as follows:

 

1. Standard Sewer Easement from UMB Bank Kansas, Instrument No. I1387468, book I2774, page 219;

 

2. Storm Drainage Easement from Venture Six Development, LLC, Instrument No. I1387469, book I2774, page 222;

 

3. Temporary Easement from Strother Investment Properties, Instrument No. I1387470, book I2774, page 224;

2. Temporary Easement from William M. Coyne, Jr., Instrument No. 0014690, book 837, page 583;

 

3. Temporary Easement from Park Hill School District, Instrument No. 0014691, book 837, page 584;

 

4. Conveyance of Easement for Pedestrian Right of Way, Instrument No. 0014692, book 837, page 585;

 

all recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds for Platte County, Missouri, at Platte City, are hereby accepted.

 

Section 4. That release of the easement for facility 1049 rifle range recorded as Document No. K677151 in book K1455 at page 1638 in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, granted by the City of Kansas City, Missouri to the United States of America located on Richards-Gebaur Airport is hereby accepted and the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to execute the acceptance of a Quitclaim and Release of Easement from the United States of America.

 

Section 5. That the legal descriptions for such properties listed in Sections 1 through 4 are set forth in Exhibit "A", which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

 

Section 6. That upon the effective date of this ordinance, the City Clerk is hereby directed to cause this ordinance to be recorded in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds for Jackson County, Missouri, at Independence, for Clay County, Missouri, at Liberty, and for Platte County, Missouri, at Platte City, respectively.
