ORDINANCE NO. 061382
Declaring it necessary to
change and reestablish the grades on 22nd Street along the proposed baseline of
22nd Street from approximately 147.53 feet west of the intersection of 22nd
Street and Tracy Avenue (Sta. 141+71.62) to approximately 236.59 feet east
(Sta. 177+40) of the intersection of Brooklyn Avenue and 22nd Street, all in
Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the Council further finds that pursuant to Article VII of
the Charter of Kansas City, it adopted Resolution No. 061177 on November 2,
2006, declaring it to be necessary to change and reestablish the grades on
North Congress Avenue, all in Kansas City, Platte County, Missouri; publication
for said grade change began on November 7, 2006, with the period for
remonstrance ending on December 7, 2006, and there being no remonstrance filed;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED
BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
That the Council
finds and declares it necessary to change and re-establish the grades on 22nd
Street from approximately 147.53 feet west of the
intersection of 22nd Street and Tracy Avenue (Sta. 141+71.62) to approximately 236.59 feet (Sta. 177+40), east of the
intersection of Brooklyn Avenue and 22nd Street, along with various cross
streets to make improvements in accordance with the provisions of Section 224,
Article of the Charter of Kansas City, and as shown on the plans on file in the
office of the Director of Public Works, and as evidenced by the Declaration of
Necessity No. 5113, locating and defining the adjacent grade points on said
street, on the baseline of the roadway, which shall be connected by straight
grade (tangents) or vertical curves between such grade points, the elevations
of which are shown using NAVD 88 datum;
