ORDINANCE NO. 950221

Accepting various easements in Jackson, Clay and Platte Counties and directing the City Clerk to record the acceptance.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That an easement in Kansas City, Jackson County, executed by the following person, and which appears of record as the instrument number and book and page as follows:

1. Permanent Easement for Water Main and Appurtenances from Kurt Steinmeyer, Instrument No. I1319164, book I2642, page 612, easement no. 2445;

recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds for Jackson County, Missouri, at Independence, is hereby accepted.

Section 2. That an easement in Kansas City, Clay County, executed by the following person, and which appears of record as the instrument number and book and page as follows:

1. Permanent Easement for Water Main and Appurtenances from Kansas City Power & Light Company, Instrument No. M42915, book 2413, page 614;

recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds for Clay County, Missouri, at Liberty, is hereby accepted.

Section 3. That various easements in Kansas City, Platte County, executed by the following persons, and which appear of record as the instrument numbers and respective books and pages as follows:

1. Permanent Easement for Water Main and Appurtenances from Tim and Sylvia Harris and William Kelly, Instrument No. 0000987, book 823, page 986, easement no.

2442;

2. Permanent Easement for Water Main and Appurtenances from Harvey A. And Janelle R. Flacks, Instrument No. 0018035, book 822, page 729, easement no. 2443;

3. Permanent Easement for Water Main and Appurtenances from Corral Midwest, Inc., Instrument No. 0018037, book 822, page 731;

all recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds for Platte County, Missouri, at Platte City, are hereby accepted.

Section 4. That the legal descriptions for such properties listed in Sections 1 through 3 are set forth in Exhibit "A", which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

Section 5. That upon the effective date of this ordinance, the City Clerk is hereby directed to cause this ordinance to be recorded in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds for Jackson County, Missouri at Independence, for Clay County, Missouri at Liberty, and for Platte County, Missouri, at Platte City, respectively.
