ORDINANCE NO. 910670

 

Approving a community unit project on a 1 1/4 acre tract of land located on the west side of The Paseo between 25th and 26th Streets. (11051-CUP)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That a community unit project on a 1 1/4 acre tract of land located on the west side of The Paseo between 25th and 26th Streets, and more specifically described as follows:

 

Lots 91 through 99, inclusive, Paseo Terrace, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

 

is hereby approved, subject to the following conditions:

 

1. That the developer cause the area to be platted and processed in accordance with Chapter 31, Code of General

Ordinances of Kansas City, Missouri, as amended, commonly

known as the Subdivision Regulations and that the

developer submit a storm drainage study as part of the

submission of the final plat.

 

2. That the developer improve 26th Street to residential street standards.

 

3. That the developer construct a cul-de-sac on the north end of 26th Street.

 

4. That the developer pay money in lieu of parkland dedication in satisfaction of Section 31.32 in the amount

of $607.81 based upon 6 single family dwellings.

 

5. That the developer petition for the vacation of the north/south alley along the west property line.

 

6. That the developer submit private covenants with the final plat to provide for access and maintenance of the

private street.

 

7. That the developer extend water mains as required by the City Water Department and provide fire hydrant(s) if

necessary.

 

A copy of said community unit project is on file in the office of the City Clerk under Document No. 910670 which is attached hereto and made a part hereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
