ORDINANCE NO. 040399

 

Amending Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances, by adding a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0556, rezoning an area of approximately 25 acres generally located on both sides of N. Mace Road from N.W. 73rd Street north to approximately N.W. 74th Street from District RA (Agricultural) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings). (13108-P)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0556, rezoning an area of approximately 25 acres generally located on both sides of N. Mace Road from N.W. 73rd Street north to approximately N.W. 74th Street from District RA (Agricultural) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 80-11A0556. That an area legally described as:

 

That part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 13, Township 51, Range 34, partially in Kansas City, and wholly in Platte County, Missouri, bounded and described as follows: Commencing at the Southwest Corner of said Section 13; thence North 00 degrees 08 minutes 28 seconds East along the West Line of said Southwest Quarter, a distance of 658.54 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence South 89 degrees 37 minutes 04 seconds East along the South Line of the North Half of the South Half of said Southwest Quarter of Section 13, a distance of 854.60 feet; thence North 00 degrees 02 minutes 44 seconds East, a distance 646.10 feet; thence North 89 degrees 11 minutes 44 seconds East, a distance of 202.52 feet; thence North 00 degrees 08 minutes 28 seconds East, a distance of 667.16 feet to a point on the North Line of the South Half of the North Half of said Southwest Quarter of Section 13; thence North 89 degrees 38 minutes 20 seconds West along said North Line, a distance of 353.80 feet to a curve to the right, having an radius of 428.52 feet and an initial tangent bearing of South 12 degrees 18 minutes 04 seconds East; thence along a curve to the right, an arc length of 207.44 feet; thence South 23 degrees 00 minutes 51 seconds West, a distance of 249.17 feet; thence North 89 degrees 36 minutes 27 seconds West, a distance of 780.25 feet to the West City Limits Line for Kansas City, Platte County, Missouri; thence South 00 degrees 08 minutes 28 seconds West along the West City Limits Line for the City of Kansas City, Platte County, Missouri, a distance of 683.40 feet; thence South 89 degrees 51 minutes 32 seconds East, a distance of 180.00 feet to the East Line of Section 14; thence South 00 degrees 08 minutes 28 seconds West along the East Line of said Section 14, a distance of 199.47 feet to the Point of Beginning. Tract of land contains 24.98 acres, more or less.

 

is hereby rezoned from District RA (Agricultural) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0556, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part


of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
