RESOLUTION NO. 060772

Requesting the City Manager to review the request of the Missouri Department of Transportation and Grantham University to install a directional sign at N. Congress and N.W. 86th Street for the Zona Rosa location of Grantham University.

WHEREAS, Grantham University has opened a new location at Zona Rosa; and

WHEREAS, the University has requested the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDot) install a sign on M-152 for the University; however, MoDot requires sufficient signing to direct motorists to the location of the University once they exit from M-152; and

WHEREAS, the installation of signing on M-152 by MoDot, therefore, is conditioned upon the City installing a sign at N. Congress and N.W. 86th Street and Zona Rosa installing a sign at the entrance to Zona Rosa; NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

That the Mayor and Council hereby request the City Manager to review the request of the Missouri Department of Transportation and Grantham University to install a directional sign at N. Congress and N.W. 86th Street for the Zona Rosa location of Grantham University.
