ORDINANCE NO. 050457

 

Authorizing various traffic signal modifications; reducing an appropriation in the amount of $288,171.00 in the General Fund; estimating revenue in the amount of $723,200.00 in the General Fund; appropriating the sum of $1,011,371.00 from the Unappropriated Fund Balance to various accounts in the General Fund; and designating requisitioning authority.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the work of the following traffic signal safety modifications are hereby provided for and authorized: 

 

Mill and Westport, Project No. 89004250, Federal Project No. STP-3333(401)

Holmes and 18th Street, Project No. 89004277, Federal Project No. STP-3352(415)

Linwood Ave and Brooklyn , Project No. 89004280, Federal Project No. STP-3399(406) 

75th & Troost , Project No. 89004121, Federal Project No. STP-3387(401) 

 

Section 2. That the appropriation in the following account of the General Fund is hereby reduced by the following amount: 

 

06-1000-897731-B Traffic Signal Safety Improvements $288,171.00

 

Section 3. That the revenue in the following accounts of the General Fund are hereby estimated in the following amounts: 

 

06-1000-890001-478671 STP-Mill & Westport $72,000.00

06-1000-890001-478672 STP- Holmes and 18th 80,000.00

06-1000-890001-478673 STP-Linwood and Brooklyn 96,000.00

06-1000-890001-478675 STP-75th & Troost 475,200.00

TOTAL $723,200.00

 

Section 4. That the sum of $363,371.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the General Fund to the following projects in the Traffic Signals Grants account in the General Fund: 

 

06-1000-897732-A-89004250 Westport & Mill $10,000.00

06-1000-897732-B-89004250 Westport & Mill 119,262.00

06-1000-897732-A-89004277 Holmes & 18th 7,000.00

06-1000-897732-A-89004277 Holmes & 18th 93,118.00

06-1000-897732-A-89004280 Linwood and Brooklyn 10,000.00

06-1000-897732-B-89004280 Linwood and Brooklyn 123,991.00

06-1000-897732-A-89004121 75th & Troost 54,000.00

06-1000-897732-B-89004121 Linwood and Brooklyn 594,000.00

TOTAL $1,011,371.00

Section 5. That the Director of Public Works is hereby designated as requisitioning authority for Account No 06-1000-897732.
