ORDINANCE NO. 010645

 

Authorizing the Director of Environmental Management to enter into an amendment to the agreement with Bridging The Gap to continue to operate recycling drop-off centers for ninety days beginning May 1, 2001, and authorizing the Director to expend $107,694.00 in funds to be appropriated in the 2001-2002 budget.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Environmental Management is hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of the City, an amendment to the agreement with Bridging The Gap, to continue operation of the recycling drop-off centers for ninety (90) days beginning May 1, 2001, at the rate of $35,898.00 per month. The amendment shall be essentially in the form which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Environmental Management is hereby authorized to expend therefore $107,694.00 from funds to be appropriated in Account No. 02-100-085-2220-B in the 2001-2002 budget.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
