ORDINANCE NO. 050028

 

Accepting a Missouri Warranty Deed from William D. Townsend, conveying to the City of Kansas City, Missouri, certain property in Jackson County, Missouri, all for public use for Expansion of Fire Station No. 47 and directing the City Clerk to file the same.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the deed conveying property to the City of Kansas City, Missouri, for public purposes as part of the Expansion of Fire Station No. 47 and recorded as Instrument No. 2004K0084710 in the office of the Records Department for Jackson County, Missouri, is hereby accepted. The property is legally described as follows:

 

All that part of Tract D, Executive Park, First Plat, a subdivision of land filed May 25, 1973, recorded Document K-195604, in Plat Book 33, page 91, in the Recorders Office in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, described as follows:

 

Beginning at the northwest corner of Tract D in said subdivision, thence North 54 20 37 East, along the north line of said tract 150.00 feet to the point of beginning; thence North 54 20 37 East along said north line 145.20 feet; thence South 35 39 23 East 300.00 feet to the south line of said tract; thence South 54 20 37 West along the said south line 145.20 feet; thence North 35 39 23 West 300.00 feet to the point of beginning.

 

Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to record a copy of this ordinance in the office of the Department of Records for Jackson County, Missouri, as evidence of the acceptance of the herein described property by the City for public use purposes.
