ORDINANCE NO. 160769

 

Authorizing a $330,000.00 First Amendment to Contract No. 6212100183 with Capital Electric Construction Company, Inc., for electrical services at airports and substations.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to execute a First Amendment to Contract No. 6212100183 with Capital Electric Construction Company, Inc., that increases the contract amount by $330,000.00 for a total contract amount of $580,000.00, for electrical services at airports and substations. A copy of the First Amendment is on file in the Aviation Department.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Aviation may utilize any portion of this maximum amount without further City Council action; however, in no event shall the total sum of this contract exceed $580,000.00. Such amount is subject to the availability of appropriated funds in current or future budgetary periods from the KCI Airports Fund No. 17-8300-622320-B.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
