Approving an amendment to a
previously approved preliminary development plan in District GP-3 on approximately 94.5 acres generally
bounded by N.W. Barry Road on the south, Interstate 29 on the west, Missouri
Highway 152 on the north, and N. Ambassador Drive on the east. (10410-GP-36).
BE IT ORDAINED
BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section A. That
an amendment to a previously approved preliminary plan in District GP-3 (Regional Business) on approximately 94.5
acres generally bounded by N.W. Barry Road on the south, Interstate 29 on the
west, Missouri Highway 152 on the north, and N. Ambassador Drive on the east,
and more specifically described as follows:
All of Lots 1 through 8, Boardwalk Square; all of Lot 1,
Boardwalk Square, 2nd Plat; all of Lots 1 through 8, Tract A &
Tract B, Boardwalk Square, 3rd Plat; and Lot 7, Replat of Lot 7,
Boardwalk Square, subdivisions of land in Kansas City, Platte County Missouri,
all subject to that part thereof dedicated for street purposes.
is hereby approved, subject to
the following conditions:
1.
That the developer secure permits to
construct or reconstruct existing sidewalks, curb, gutter, storm sewers, and
streetlights as necessary along all development street frontages, prior to
issuance of building permits.
2.
That the developer comply with the
Kansas City International Airport Height Zoning restrictions.
3.
That the developer provide fire
protection as required by the Fire Department.
4.
That the developer submit a final plan
to the City Plan Commission for approval, including plans for grading,
landscaping, berming, lighting, and building elevation drawings.
A copy of said amendment is on
file in the office of the City Clerk with this ordinance, and is made a part
hereof.
Section B. That
the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed
amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning
Ordinance have been given and had.
