ORDINANCE NO. 120077

 

Authorizing a Professional Services Contract with Wilson & Company Inc., for Chouteau Trafficway Improvements; and recognizing an emergency.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Capital Projects Department is hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of the City, a contract in the amount of $659,278.00 with Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects for Project No.70400001 – Chouteau Trafficway Improvements from funds previously appropriated to Account No. AL-3398-878011-B. A copy of the contract is on file in the Capital Projects Department.

 

Section 2. That this ordinance, relating to the design, repair, maintenance or construction of a public improvement, is recognized as an emergency measure within the provisions of Section 503 of the City Charter and shall take effect in accordance with that section.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
