ORDINANCE NO. 061335

 

Authorizing a $126,013.00 Amendment No. 4 to a contract with Holzman Moss Architecture for Project No. 89A00281Kansas City Music Hall Renovation for additional architectural services; authorizing the City Manager to expend $126,013.00 for work under this contract; and recognizing an emergency.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to execute Amendment No. 4 to a contract with Holzman Moss Architecture for Project No. 89A00281Kansas City Music Hall Renovation for additional architectural services. A copy of the amendment is on file in the Capital Improvements Management Office.

 

Section 2. That the City Manager is authorized to expend the sum of $126,013.00 from funds previously appropriated to Account No. AL-3425-898822-B-89A00281.

 

Section 3. That the terms, conditions, privileges and obligations as set forth in this contract are hereby approved.

 

Section 4. This ordinance, making provision for a contract relating to the design, repair, maintenance or construction of a public improvement, is recognized as an emergency measure within the provisions of Section 503 of the City Charter and shall take effect immediately upon passage.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
