ORDINANCE NO. 920596

 

Authorizing exercise of the City's option to renew for fiscal year 1992-93 Contract No. 910161 for emergency heating and air conditioning repairs and maintenance at various City-owned facilities with Lippert Heating and Air Conditioning Service, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $330,000.00.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the work of making repairs and maintenance of heating and air conditioning equipment in various City-owned facilities for the period through April 30, 1993, is hereby provided for and authorized.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to execute Kansas City's option to extend Contract No. 910161 with Lippert Heating and Air Conditioning Service, Inc. for completing such repairs and maintenance.

 

Section 3. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to expend the sum not to exceed $330,000.00 from funds heretofore appropriated to Account No. 100-089-7727T as and for consideration in the aforesaid contract.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
