ORDINANCE NO. 950710

 

Approving a contract with Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault (MOCSA) not to exceed $25,000.00 from funds heretofore appropriated in the 1995-1996 City Budget for provision of a 24-hour Rape Crisis Hotline and Rape Victim Support and Advocacy Programs.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That a contract entered into by the Director of Neighborhood and Community Services on behalf of the City with Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault (MOCSA) is hereby approved in an amount not to exceed $25,000.00 from funds heretofore appropriated in the 1995-1996 City Budget to Account Number 96-100-057-2007-B for provision of a 24-hour Rape Crisis Hotline and Rape Victim Support and Advocacy Programs.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
