Rezoning an area of approximately
76 acres generally bounded by Blue Parkway and 51st Street on the north, 53rd Street on the south, Jackson Avenue on the west and the Missouri Pacific Railroad right
of way on the east from Districts R-2b and RP to District R-1b. (13706-P)
BE IT ORDAINED
BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section A. That
Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly
known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to
be known as Section 80-11A0732, rezoning an area of approximately 76 acres
generally bounded by Blue Parkway and 51st Street on the north, 53rd Street on
the south, Jackson Avenue on the west and the Missouri Pacific Railroad right
of way on the east from Districts R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings) and RP
(Automobile Parking) to District R-1b (One-Family Dwellings), said section to
read as follows:
Section 80-11A0732. That an area
legally described as:
Rezoning from
District R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings) to District R-1b (One-Family Dwellings):
Blocks 1 through 5
inclusive, and Lots 1 through 23 inclusive, Block 6, and Blocks 7 through 9
inclusive, Sheraton Estates, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County,
Missouri; and Lots 24 through 35 inclusive, Block 4, and Lots 12 through 49
inclusive, Block 5 except that part in right of way, and Lots 12 through 57
inclusive, Block 6 except that part in right of way, and the west half of
vacated Chelsea Avenue east of and adjacent said Block 6, Bluebanks, a
subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.
Rezoning from
District RP (Automobile Parking) to District R-1b (One-Family Dwellings):
Lots 12 through 23
inclusive, and Lots 36 and 37, Block 4, and the south half of the vacated alley
north of and adjacent said Lot 12, Bluebanks, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.
is hereby rezoned from Districts
R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings) and RP (Automobile Parking) to District R-1b
(One-Family Dwellings), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section
80-11A0732, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is
hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part
of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.
Section B. That
the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed
amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance
have been given and had.
