RESOLUTION NO. 060707

Indicating to Jackson County, the City Council's recommendation of certain roads to be improved under the provisions of the Jackson County Urban Road System Agreement.

WHEREAS, Jackson County, Missouri, a constitutional home rule charter county, has entered into an agreement with Kansas City, Missouri dated June 1, 1976 for the allocation and expenditure of special road and bridge taxes on the portion of the County Urban Road System of Jackson County, Missouri, within Kansas City; and

WHEREAS, in paragraph seven of the agreement, the parties reserve the right to modify and update the said listing as required; and

WHEREAS, the City now wants to indicate to the County its recommendations on the listing and priority of future projects; NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KASAS CITY:

That the City herewith submits to the County its recommendations for revising Appendix A of the heretofore executed County Urban Road System Agreement of Jackson County, Missouri:

1. 135^th Street
2. 22^nd/23^rd Street
3. Blue Ridge Boulevard
4. Botts Road
5. Holmes Road
6. Kenneth Road Bridge
7. Lees Summit Road
8. Little Blue Road
9. Longview Road

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution be spread upon the Minutes of Council and a copy hereof be delivered to the Jackson County Executive in testimony thereof.
