ORDINANCE NO. 921275

 

Authorizing a $54,200.00 agreement with Burns & McDonnell Engineering Co. for study and design of the East Bottoms Water Service Area Reduced Pressure Zone; and authorizing expenditure of $65,000.00 in funding therefor.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Water & Pollution Control is hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of City, a $54,200.00 agreement with Burns & McDonnell Engineering Co. for study and design of the East Bottoms Water Service Area Reduced Pressure Zone.

 

Section 2. That the Director is further authorized to expend up to the sum of $65,000.00 from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 801-080-7711-T, "Pumping Station/Water Storage Improvements," to satisfy the cost of this agreement including changes deemed necessary.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure, is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
