ORDINANCE NO. 900632

 

Authorizing an agreement with Larkin Associates Consulting Engineers, Inc. in the amount of $27,645.00 for engineering services in connection with storm sewer improvements in the vicinity of 39th and N. Jackson and 39th and N. Spruce.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to enter into and execute on behalf of Kansas City, an agreement between Larkin Associates Consulting Engineers, Inc. and Kansas City, Missouri, relating to engineering services in connection with the following improvements: storm sewers in vicinity of 39th and N. Jackson Avenue and 39th and N. Spruce Avenue, to be completed in two phases:

 

Phase A: Engineering Design Phase B: Construction Observation

 

in Kansas City, Missouri, Council District 1, Project No. 3177. The said agreement shall be essentially in the form which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to expend the sum of $27,645.00 from funds heretofore appropriated to Account No. 9-40511-T as and for consideration in the aforesaid agreement.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
