Rezoning approximately 17.7 acres
generally located on the west side of N. Indiana Avenue between N.E. 87th Street on the south and N.E. 91st Terrace on the north from District RA to
District R-1a. (13527-P).
BE IT ORDAINED
BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section A. That
Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly
known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to
be known as Section 80-11A0685, rezoning an area of approximately 17.7 acres generally
located on the west side of N. Indiana Avenue between N.E. 87th Street on the
south and N.E. 91st Terrace on the north from District RA (Agricultural) to
District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings, Medium Density), said section to read as
follows:
Section 80-11A0685. That an area
legally described as:
A tract of land in
the Southwest of Section 6, Township 51 North, Range 32 West, Kansas City,
Clay County, Missouri, being more particularly described as follows: Beginning
at the southeast corner of the Southwest of said Section 6; thence North
894608 West along the south line of the Southwest of said Section 6 a
distance of 1024.90 feet; thence North 002637 East, a distance of 738.58
feet to the to the southwest corner of Lot 14, Pembrooke Estates First Plat, a
subdivision in Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri; thence South 894537 East
along the south line of said Pembrooke Estates First Plat a distance of 125.06
feet; thence North 001423 East, a distance of 15.00 feet; thence South
894537 East continuing along the south line of said Pembrooke Estates First
Plat a distance of 899.86 feet to the east line of the Southwest of said
Section 6; thence South 002629 West along the east line of said Southwest
a distance of 753.42 feet to the point of beginning.
is hereby rezoned from District
RA (Agricultural) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings, Medium Density), all
as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0685, which is attached hereto
and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment
to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to
Section 80-11 thereof.
Section B. That
the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed
amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning
Ordinance have been given and had.
