Rezoning an area of approximately
10.6 acres (including right of way) generally located at the northwest corner
of N.W. 115th Street and N.W. Prairie View Road from District B3-3 to District
KCIA. (12922-GP-2)
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section A. That
Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly
known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to
be known as Section 80-11A0864, rezoning an area of approximately 10.6 acres
(including right of way) generally located at the northwest corner of N.W.
115th Street and N.W. Prairie View Road from District B3-3 (Community Business)
(formerly GP-2, General Transient Retail Business) to District KCIA (Airport)
(formerly GP-8, Airport and Conservation), said section to read as follows:
Section 80-11A0864. That an area legally described as:
A tract of land
located in the Southwest Quarter of Section 23, Township 52, Range 34, Kansas
City, Platte County, Missouri described as follows: All of Lot 2, Platte
Gardens, a subdivision of land in Kansas City, Platte County, Missouri and the
North One Half of the 40.00 foot wide road right-of-way along Northwest 115th
Street, said road lying between Lots 2 and 3 of said subdivision.
is hereby rezoned from District
B3-3 (Community Business) (formerly GP-2, General Transient Retail Business) to
District KCIA (Airport) (formerly GP-8, Airport and Conservation), all as shown
outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0864, which is attached hereto and made
a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the
zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section
80-11 thereof.
Section B. That the
Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed
amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning
Ordinance have been given and had.
