ORDINANCE NO. 041203
Authorizing execution of agreements
to provide City of Kansas City, Missouri Impact Fee District "A"
Funding and 2nd District In-District Neighborhood PIAC funding for
improvements.
BE IT ORDAINED
BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. The Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to enter into and execute, on behalf
of the City, a Cooperative Agreement with Platte County for $500,000.00 in
funding and construction of N. Congress Avenue between M152 and Tiffany Springs
Parkway and Tiffany Springs Road, east and west of N. Congress, from Impact Fee
District A funding, all located within Platte County, Kansas City, Missouri,
Council District 2, Project No. 8085. A copy of the Cooperative Agreement, in
substantial form, is attached hereto and is hereby approved.
Section 2. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to expend the sum of
$500,000.00 from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 05-2430-897241-B
for the aforesaid agreement.
Section 3. That, subject to the appropriation of funds in an adequate amount, the Director of
Public Works is hereby authorized to enter into and execute, on behalf of the
City, a Cooperative Agreement with Platte County for $1,672,000.00 in funding
and construction of N. Congress Avenue between M152 and Tiffany Springs Parkway
and Tiffany Springs Road, east and west of N. Congress, from 2nd
District Neighborhood PIAC funds over the next four years, all located within
Platte County, Kansas City, Missouri, Council District 2, Project No. 8085. A
copy of the Cooperative Agreement, in substantial form, is attached hereto and
is hereby approved.
Section 4. That upon the effective date of the Cooperative Agreement, the City Clerk is directed
to cause a copy of this ordinance and of the agreements to be recorded in the
office of the Recorder of Deeds of Platte County, Missouri.

I hereby certify that
there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation
to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance,
otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which
payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
