COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTED FOR ORDINANCE NO. 050307

 

Reducing appropriations in the Capital Improvements Fund and appropriating funds in the amount of $2,000,000.00 to the Northland Aquatics account in Capital Improvements Fund.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the appropriation in the following account in the Capital Improvements Fund is hereby reduced by the following amount:

 

05-3090-897221-B N. Gower Connector $2,000,000.00

 

Section 2. That the sum of $2,000,000.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of Capital Improvements Fund to the following account in the Capital Improvements Fund:

 

05-3090-706706-B Northland Aquatic Center $2,000,000.00

 

Section 3. The sum of $1,500,000.00 will be repaid from FY06 funds which will become available May 1, 2005.

 

Section 4. The sum of $500,000.00 will be repaid from FY07 funds which will become available May 1, 2006.

 

Section 5. That the Board of Parks and Recreation Commissioners is hereby designated as the requisitioning authority for Account No. 05-3090-706706.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
