ORDINANCE NO. 991541

 

Authorizing a $109,000.00 agreement with Black & Veatch for Contract No. 7471 Design Phase Engineering for Small Main Replacements in Clay County, Plate No. C-86, Jackson to Topping, N.E. 48th to N.E. 56th Streets; and authorizing expenditure of previously appropriated funds in the amount of $119,900.00.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Water Services is hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of Kansas City, a $109,000.00 Contract with Black & Veatch for design phase engineering of small main replacements in Clay County, Plate No. C-86, Jackson to Topping, N.E. 48th to N.E. 56th Streets. A copy of said contract is on file in the office of the Director of Water Services.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Water Services is further authorized to expend up to the sum of $119,900.00 from funds previously appropriated Account No. 00-801-080-7703-T Water Main Const/Rehab to satisfy the cost of this contract including contingencies.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
