ORDINANCE NO. 010823

 

Amending Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances, by adding a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0371, rezoning an area of approximately 0.84 acres generally located at the northeast corner of 87th Street and Blue Ridge Boulevard from District C-1 (Neighborhood Retail Business) to District C-2 (Local Retail Business). BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, 1996, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0371, rezoning an area of approximately 0.84 acres generally located at the northeast corner of 87th Street and Blue Ridge Boulevard from District C-1 (Neighborhood Retail Business) to District C-2 (Local Retail Business), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 80-11A0371. That an area legally described as:

 

A tract of land located in the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 19, Township 48 North, Range 32 West of the 5th Principle Meridian, Jackson County, Missouri, being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at a point on the east line of said Quarter Section; thence along the easterly right of way line of Blue Ridge Boulevard Extension South 46E28'00" West, a distance of 190.28 feet; thence on a curve to the left tangent to the last described course having a radius of 1095.92 feet and an arc length of 114.28 feet to the point of beginning; thence South 44E52'57" East, a distance of 128.62 feet; thence South 27E02'59" West, a distance of 8.46 feet to the Kansas City, Raytown city limit line; thence southwesterly on a curve to the left having a radius of 965.92 feet and an arc length of 218.50 feet; thence South 89E36'00" West, a distance of 131.68 feet; thence North 44E59'48" West, a distance of 11.72 feet to a point on said right of way; thence on a curve to the right with an incoming tangent bearing of North 23E32'45" East having a radius of 1095.92 feet and an arc length of 324.73 feet to the point of beginning. Containing 36,388 square feet or 0.84 acres, more or less. Subject to easement, reservation and restrictions now of record.

 

is hereby rezoned from District C-1 (Neighborhood Retail Business) to District C-2 (Local Retail Business), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0371, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
