ORDINANCE NO. 190333

 

Authorizing a $1,430,850.00 Design Professional Services Contract with HDR Engineering Inc., for the Secondary Electrical Switchgear Improvements at the Water Treatment Plant Project; and recognizing this ordinance as having an accelerated effective date.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Water Services is authorized to execute Contract No. 9489 in the amount of $1,430,850.00 with HDR Engineering Inc., for the Secondary Electrical Switchgear Improvements at the Water Treatment Plant Project, Project No. 80002134.  A copy of this contract is on file in the office of Water Services.

 

Section 2. That the Director of the Water Services Department is authorized a maximum expenditure of $1,430,850.00 from the following accounts to satisfy the cost of this contract:

 

AL-8076-807714-B-611040-80002134 Treatment Facilities $ 800,000.00

20-8010-807714-B-611040-80002134 Treatment Facilities 630,850.00

TOTAL $1,430,850.00

 

Section 3. That this ordinance, relating to the design, repair, maintenance or construction of a public improvement, is recognized as an ordinance with an accelerated effective date as provided by Section 503(a)(3)(D) of the City Charter and shall take effect in accordance with Section 503, City Charter.
