Authorizing a Third Amended Service Contract with the Little Blue Valley Sewer District providing for the Lampkins Fork Interceptor Project.

WHEREAS, the City and the Little Blue Valley Sewer District (District) entered into a Service Contract on March 18, 1976, which was subsequently amended on November 12, 1985 and February 13, 1989; and

WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend said Contract to provide additional connection points to the City due to the construction of the Lampkins Fork Interceptor by the District; and

WHEREAS, the District intends to utilize the City's original design and easement acquisition for the construction of the Lampkins Fork Interceptor; NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Water and Pollution Control is hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of City, a Third Amended Service Contract with the Little Blue Valley Sewer District to provide for additional service connection points in connection with the construction of the Lampkins Fork Interceptor Sewer. Said Third Amended Service Contract is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.
