BE IT
ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section A. That
Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly
known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to
be known as Section 80-11A0645, rezoning an area of approximately 12.34 acres
generally located on the south side of 87th Street at Denver Avenue from
District URD (Urban Redevelopment District) to
District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings, Medium Density), said section to read as
follows:

Right of Way: A portion of Section 23 in Township 48 North, Range 33 West of
the Fifth Principal Meridian, in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, more
particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Northwest Corner of the
Southeast Quarter of Section 23, Thence South 865906 East along the
Northerly line of the Southeast Quarter of Section 23, a distance of 275.11
feet; thence perpendicular to the last described course and no longer along
said Northerly line, South 030054 East, a distance of 40.23 feet to the
Point of Beginning, said point being on the existing Southerly right of way
line of 87TH Street; thence along said right of way line South
865701 East, a distance of 175.80 feet; thence South 021332 West, and no longer
along said Southerly right of way line, a distance of 114.92 feet to a point on
the proposed Southerly right of way line of 87th Street; thence
generally westward along said Southerly right of way line, the following
courses and distances, more or less; thence South 791153 West, a distance of
2.26 feet; thence North 135544 West, a distance of 92.29 feet; thence on a
curve to the right, having an initial tangent bearing of North 782337 West,
a radius of 2,365.00 feet and a central angle of 033912, an arc distance of
150.80 feet to the Point of Beginning, said tract containing 0.1 acres, more or

Option Property: The East 806.59 feet of the North 620.00 feet of the
Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 23, Township 48 North,
Range 33 West, EXCEPT that part in roads. Containing 537,232.71 Square Feet or
12.33 Acres more or less.
is hereby rezoned from District
URD (Urban Redevelopment District) to District
R-1a (One-Family
Dwellings, Medium Density) all as shown outlined on a map marked Section
80-11A0645, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is
hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part
of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.
Section B. That
the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed
amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning
Ordinance have been given and had.
