ORDINANCE NO. 060960

 

Authorizing acceptance and approval of the AmerenUE grant in the amount of $8,113.00; increasing revenue in the amount of $8,113.00; appropriating the amount of $7,054.00 in the Home Weatherization AmerenUE account in the Supportive Housing Rehabilitation Loan Fund; and recognizing an emergency.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the revenue in the following account of the Supportive Housing Rehabilitation Loan Fund is increased by the following amount:

 

07-6380-570000-480530 AmerenUE Grant $8,113.00

 

Section 2. That the appropriation in the following account of the Supportive Housing Rehabilitation Loan Fund are increased by the following amounts:

 

07-6380-572363-A Home Weatherization AmerenUE $2,500.00

07-6380-572363-B Home Weatherization AmerenUE 4,554.00

TOTAL $7,054.00

 

Section 3. That the Director of the Department of Neighborhood and Community Services is authorized to execute a Subgrant Assistance Agreement. The Subgrant Agreement is approved, in substantial form as that on file with the Director of Neighborhood and Community Services.

 

Section 4. This ordinance is recognized as an emergency measure within the provisions of the City Charter and shall take effect immediately upon its passage.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
