ORDINANCE NO. 050983

 

Accepting a $200,000.00 Brownfields Petroleum Cleanup Grant for Beacon Hill from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, estimating revenue in the amount of $200,000.00 in the General Fund; appropriating it to various accounts in the General Fund; and designating requisitioning authority.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of the Department of City Development is hereby authorized to accept a $200,000.00 Brownfields Petroleum Cleanup Grant from EPA.

 

Section 2. That revenue in the following account of the General Fund is hereby estimated in the following amount:

 

06-1000-640001-476732 Brownfields Petro Cleanup Beacon Hill $200,000.00

 

Section 3. That the amount of $200,000.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the General Fund to the following account in the General Fund:

 

06-1000-645100-B Brownfields Petro Cleanup Beacon Hill $200,000.00

 

Section 4. That the Director of City Development is hereby designated as requisitioning authority for Account No. 06-1000-645100.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
