Amending
Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances, by adding a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0317,
rezoning an area of approximately 7 acres generally located at the northeast
corner of N.W. 68th Street and N. Bell Street (future N. Platte Purchase Drive)
from District RA (Agricultural) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings).

IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section
A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri,
1996, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a
new section to be known as Section 80-11A0317, rezoning an area of
approximately 7 acres generally located at the northeast corner of N.W. 68th
Street and N. Bell Street (future N. Platte Purchase Drive) from District RA
(Agricultural) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings), said section to read as
follows:

80-11A0317. That an area legally described as:
Part of the Fractional Northwest 1/4 of Section
22, Township 51, Range 33, Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, described as
follows: Beginning at the southwest corner of said Fractional Northwest 1/4;
thence North 00E03'55" West, along
the west line of said Fractional Northwest 1/4, 161.89 feet; thence North 89E56'05" East, 50.00 feet; thence
North 55E22'35" East, 75.11
feet; thence North 32E15'23" East, 372.68
feet; thence North 47E37'14" West, 177.33
feet; thence North 61E50'00" East, 382.11
feet to the northwesterly corner of Clayton Manor, a subdivision in said Kansas
City; thence South 03E52'58" East, along
the westerly line of said Clayton Manor, 813.98 feet to the south line of said
Fractional Northwest 1/4; thence North 89E48'23"
West, along said south line, 553.88 feet (Plat = 554.92 feet) to the point of
beginning. Containing 269,702 square feet or 6.1915 acres.

hereby rezoned from District RA (Agricultural) to District R-1a (One-Family
Dwellings), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0317, which is
attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part
of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as
an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.
Section
B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the
proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the
Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
