RESOLUTION NO. 120994

 

Honoring Officer Chad Safranek and Officer Adam Hill as Rich Noll Pacesetters for November, 2012.

 

WHEREAS, the Rich Noll Pacesetter Award has been established to honor City employees who provide excellent service to the citizens of Kansas City, Missouri; and

 

WHEREAS, the Rich Noll Pacesetter Award is named after Rich Noll, who worked for the City of Kansas City in a variety of capacities over his 26 year career and always exemplified the best attributes of City government in those capacities including customer service, responsiveness, timeliness and teamwork; and

 

WHEREAS, Officers Chad Safranek and Adam Hill work for the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department; and

 

WHEREAS, Officers Safranek and Hill orchestrated a multi-agency operation at the Extended Stay Hotel located at 2620 N.E. 43rd Street; and

 

WHEREAS, the Extended Stay Hotel was not only a police issue but it affected the surrounding neighborhoods, children, families, pets and the overall health and safety of the individuals staying there; and

 

WHEREAS, the swift action of Officers Safranek and Hill among many others involved in the operation led to locating residents living in unsanitary and unsafe living conditions and greatly improving the safety of the residents and surrounding neighborhoods; and

 

WHEREAS, thanks to Officers Safranek and Hill’s planning and dedication and working with numerous agencies throughout Kansas City, they made a positive impact on an overdue issue; NOW, THEREFORE,

 

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

That the Mayor and Council hereby recognize Officer Chad Safranek and Officer Adam Hill as a Rich Noll Pacesetter for the month of November, 2012; and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be spread upon the Minutes of the Council in testimony thereof and that a copy hereof be presented to Officer Chad Safranek and Officer Adam Hill with the thanks of the Mayor and Council for her dedication and service to the citizens of Kansas City, Missouri.
