ORDINANCE NO. 921140
To change and re-establish the grade on N.E. 96th Street
from a point 513 feet east of the centerline of N. Lydia Avenue to a point
which is 172 feet west of the centerline of N. Lydia Avenue in Kansas City,
Clay County, Missouri.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
That the Council finds and declares it to be
necessary to change and re-establish the grade on N.E. 96th Street from a point
513 feet east of the centerline of N. Lydia Avenue to a point which is 172 feet
west of the centerline of N. Lydia Avenue in Kansas City, Clay County,
Missouri, in accordance with the provisions of Section 224, Article VII of the
Charter of Kansas City, and as shown on the plans on file in the Office of the
Director of Public Works, locating and defining the adjacent grade points on
said street, on the top of the curb, which shall be connected by straight
grades (tangents) or vertical curves between such grade points, the elevations
of which are herein given below in feet above the City directrix as follows,
to-wit:
At a point 513 feet east of the centerline of N. Lydia
Avenue 266.76
At a point 498 feet east of the centerline of N. Lydia
Avenue 267.81
At a point 163 feet east of the centerline of N. Lydia
Avenue P.I. 291.26
At the centerline of N. Lydia Avenue 280.10
At a point 172 feet west of the centerline of N. Lydia
Avenue 273.84
Except that the grade planes meeting at a point 163
feet east of the centerline of N. Lydia Avenue shall be connected by
a vertical curve having tangents 335 feet in length.
Recommended for approval by the Director of Public Works.
