ORDINANCE NO. 910604

 

Authorizing an agreement in the amount of $67,770.00 with Torres Consulting Engineers, Inc. for engineering services in connection with engineering work on Part II of the Blue River Project between 23rd Street Viaduct and I-70.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to enter into and execute on behalf of Kansas City, an agreement with Torres Consulting Engineers, Inc. for engineering services in connection with the following work, Part II between 23rd Street Viaduct and I-70: Conduct the surveying necessary to locate and acquire right of way/easements shown on the Army Corps of Engineers plans for the Blue River Relocation Project from 23rd Street Viaduct to I-70 to be completed in two phases:

 

Phase A: Right of way/easement plans and descriptions Phase B: Easement staking

 

Section 2. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to expend the sum of $67,770.00 from funds heretofore appropriated to Account No. 9-40546-T as and for consideration in the aforesaid agreement.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
