ORDINANCE NO. 910578

 

Approving an amendment to a previously approved preliminary plan in District R-5-p on a 43 acre tract of land located on the north and south sides of Carondelet Drive, east of State Line Road. (6786-P-16)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That an amendment to a previously approved preliminary plan for District R-5-p on a 43 acre tract of land located on the north and south sides of Carondelet Drive, east of State Line Road, and more specifically described as follows:

 

Parcel 1: Tract A, Carondelet, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, according to the recorded plat thereof, except that part of said Tract A, described as follows: Beginning at the southwest corner of said Tract A, thence North 207'55" East along the west line of said Tract A, a distance of 185.11 feet to the northwest corner thereof; thence South 8712'50" East along the northerly line and its extension of Tract A, a distance of 133.80 feet to a point 15 feet easterly of the westerly line of said Tract A; thence South 207'55" west along a line 15 feet easterly of and parallel to the southerly extension of the westerly line of said Tract A, a distance of 159.49 feet to a point on the southerly line there thence South 8155'20" West along the southerly line of said Tract A, a distance of 135.94 feet to the point of beginning of subject tract.

 

And except all that part of Tract A, Carondelet, a subdivision of land in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the southwest corner of said Tract A, thence North 207'55" East along the west line of said Tract A, a distance of 185.11 feet to the northwest corner thereof; thence South 8712'50" East along the northerly line of said Tract A, a distance of 118.80 feet to the true point of beginning of subject tract; thence North 207'55" East along the westerly line of said Tract A, a distance of 240.16 feet; thence South 8707'16" East, a distance of 15 feet to a point 15 feet east of the west line of said Tract A; thence South 207'55" West along a line 15 feet east of and parallel to the west line of said Tract A; a distance of 240.13 feet to a point on the easterly extension of the northerly line of said Tract A; thence North 8712'50" West along the easterly extension of the northerly line of said Tract A, a distance of 15 feet to the true point of beginning of subject tract.

 

Parcel 2: All of Tract B, Carondelet, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri. Contains 37.504 acres, more or less.

 

is hereby approved, subject to the following conditions:

 

1. That the Board of Zoning Adjustment approve the auxiliary parking on the south side of Carondelet Drive.

 

A copy of said amendment is on file in the Office of the City Clerk under Document No. 910578, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
